The open space outside, near the castle. Many students can be found lounging here with their friends, or possibly skipping class.

Located south of Hogwart's Castle, this lake is one of the more scenic places. However, despite how calm and scenic it looks, there are various creatures living in there; the Giant Squid being the most well known.

This is both the practice field and the game field for the house Quidditch teams. There are stands, that can be separated by house, for which the viewers can stand on as they watch the game, or practice, or even try-outs.

The Whomping Willow is a very valuable, yet very violent tree. Planted alone in the middle of the grounds, the Whomping Willow smashes anything within its reach.

On the grounds are a few greenhouses. These greenhouses are mainly used for Herbology lessons; however there have been a few students who like to spend there time in here, tending to what wizarding plant is being grown at the moment.

Here is where the Hogwart's Gamekeeper, Hagrid, lives. The hut may be small and old fashioned, but it is home to Hagrid. It can be found on the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

East of the castle lies a large, dark forest. This is the Forbidden Forest; named for a good reason. Many different, many dangerous creatures live in the forests. It is forbidden to all.

The Hogwart's Dungeon holds the Potions Classroom, Snape's Office, the Slytherin Common Room, the Kitchens, and the Hufflepuff Common Room.

The Ground Floor houses the Entrance Hall, Great Hall, Staff Room, Classroom Eleven, Filch's Office, a small chamber, a broom cupboard, and a corridor.

The first floor houses the Muggle Studies classroom, Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, History of Magic classroom, McGonagall's office, and the old

Hogwart's second floor houses moaning Myrtle's bathroom, an empty corridor, and the office of the Defense Against Dark Arts Professor.

The third floor is the home of the Trophy Room, Armor Gallery, Charms Classroom, and Hospital Wing.

This floor houses bathrooms and the library.

The fifth floor houses the Prefects' bathrooms.

There's really nothing of important on the sixth floor save for some passageways.

The seventh floor is home to the Room of Requirement, Gryffindor Common Room, Divination Classroom, Flitwick's Office, and several corridors.

Level one at the Ministry holds the offices of the Minister or Magic as well as other important administrative staff.

Level two of the Ministry holds three divisions that have to do with enforcing the wizarding laws. It also includes the Wizengamot Administration.

The third floor of the Ministry holds three divisions that regulate the accidental use of magic.

The fourth level of the Ministry holds five divisions, three of which are more closely related, that have to do with any magical creature.

The fifth floor of the Ministry holds three divisions, each having to deal with anything international, mainly diplomacy, in the wizarding world.

The sixth level of the Ministry holds four divisions, each having to do with the separate ways of traveling that wizards and witches commonly use.

The seventh level of the Ministry holds three divisions that have anything to do with magical sports and games, such as Quidditch.

Level eight of the Ministry is the Atrium. The Atrium is a long hall that has fireplaces on either sides; the left-hand side is used for entering the Ministry, as the right-hand side is used for departure. There is a series of lifts that bring you to the floor of your choice, with the exception of the tenth level.

The ninth level of the Ministry holds no divisions, save for the different chambers that can be found in this level. It is off limits to anyone but approved Ministry workers.

This is where most wizards come to do a fair bit of shopping, as well as withdraw money from the bank.

This shady place of town is frequented by few well-meaning wizards.

This is one of the few pure-wizarding cities in London. Third year or older Hogwarts students are allowed to visit on certain weekends.

The primary wizarding hospital in Britain. Here Healers treat wizards for all sorts of magical related illnesses or accidents.

This beautiful countryside is inhabited sparsely by wizards and witches who want plenty of land.

Once home to Godric Gryffinador, Batilda Bagshot, the Dumbledores and the Potters, few people live here now, though monuments to their lives remain.

This unplottable house, hidden by a fidelius charm, is unknown to Muggles and most wizards. The Black family once lived here; now, it belongs to Sirius, though he's abandoned it for the most part.
