Well, this year had been rather uneventful, so far, but Snape had quite enough to be dealing with, at the moment. What with watching Adam, trying to help Sam with her illness, teaching, and marking, he was exhausted.
Only those who knew him quite well would be able to tell that, though; not even his daughter knew the extent of things. And so, it was time to at least attempt to find someone who he could trust to watch Adam from time to time.
The little boy was quite a lovely child, to be quite truthful, but because of his parentage, Snape was not about to leave him with just anybody. Besides that, he cared for the boy. Adam looked up to him as a father, and Snape had come to think of him as his son.
When Sam had been little, he wouldn't have left her in the hands of just anyone, either, and now, Adam was no different. Surely there had to be someone in this castle he could trust to watch over his son.
And so, he had put up notices throughout the castle; those who were interested were to report to his office to meet Adam and to make their case for why he should choose them over someone else. In the meantime, he was marking papers and keeping an eye on his child.
((OOC NOTE: For anyone who is actually interested, instead of responding to this topic, it would probably be easier to start a different thread in Snape's office, responding to the notice. That way, it's easier to keep track of things! ^^))
