Today, Luna was set to go shopping with one of her old school friends. Once Harry and company had opened her up a little bit, Luna had connected with Kiki a bit. Probably because the two of them were both sort of considered to be outcasts, at least by some.
Kiki was a little bit older than she was, but they had been writing letters over the past few years, keeping in touch as much as they could. At the same time, though, they'd both been pretty busy, almost too busy to meet up more than a couple of times.
But today, that was going to change. She and Kiki were meeting to do a bit of shopping together and to catch up. They'd decided to meet The Leaky Cauldron and go to Diagon Alley from there; it was easier than trying to find one another in the crowded street full of shops.
She smiled at Tom the bartender and sat at a table, having a gillywater while she waited.

Kiki pulled her shoes on quickly and throwing her hair up in a clip before looking at Aidan. He had distracted her. She should already be at the Leaky Cauldron to meet Luna but he'd distracted her, with his beautiful blue eyes and charm. "I'll be back later. I'm going out with Luna. From school. I'll be back for dinner, at the absolute latest. Make good choices," she planted a short yet passionate kiss on the Scotsman's lips, "I love you." She took a step back before Apparating to the Leaky Cauldron with a look of hurry on her face.
It didn't take long to find the mass of platinum blond hair in the bar, with a smile, the older woman took a seat across from the woman at the wooden table, "Sorry I'm late. The husband distracted me," she gave a light chuckle and shook her head, "I swear! But let's not talk about that. How're you? I haven't seen you in ages! Tell me everything!" Kiki couldn't help her exuberance at seeing one of her old friends, the few she had form school. With a great smile, she rested her elbow on the table and her cheek in her palm, supporting her heads weight with a large smile, "And I mean everything!" [/blockquote]

Luna had been daydreaming, head on her hand, thinking about Ron. The Ministry Six (as people had taken to calling them occasionally) had been invited back to Hogwarts for a ball, and Ron had asked her to go with him. It was quite a lovely daydream, and she had it quite often; she got to wear a pretty dress, and Ron got to wear a lovely set of dress robes. And they danced the night away.
She was brought back to reality by someone sitting down at her table. Ah, but it was Kiki! Yes, she was a little bit late, but her explanation made perfect sense. Luna had met Aidan and he was quite the gentleman, really a lovely person. And also, he treated Kiki beautifully. When other people had teased Kiki and treated her badly, he had defended her and won her heart.
"Better to be distracted by making love with your husband than having to worry about a pixie infestation," Luna said, smiling sagely. Why she'd chosen a pixie infestation for that particular analogy, well, only Luna knew.
Luna smiled at her old friend, quite happy to see her. And she wanted to know what had been going on in her life.
"Well, Ron and I have been going together for a while now," she smiled dreamily at the thought of Ron, "and it's quite serious, from what I can tell. He's an Auror now, so he's quite busy, and I'm doing research for the Ministry and St. Mungo's." She explained a bit more about her work, making sure not to go into too much detail; she didn't want to be a bore, after all.
"And how have you and Aidan been?" she asked with a smile. "Other than madly in love, of course. When are you going to have a baby so I can come round and be jealous?" she laughed. While Luna would love to have a child at some point, she was not quite ready for that yet; she was still just a teenager, and Ron was only twenty; they weren't ready for that sort of responsibility. Not to mention the fact that they weren't married. Aidan and Kiki, on the other hand, would make wonderful parents.
