Finally, a day where everything had been panned out just well. The sun was shinning brighter than it had ever. Then again, Daphne was always trapped inside of her office in the Ministry, rarely seeing the light of day. It was tiring, and really all she had wanted to do lately was get out and enjoy her life. Being on her own was one of the hardest things she had ever endured in her life. Not having her mother around for the company was very lonely. Animal's would only be around so long until one had decided to croak or runaway. But, like usual, she was getting used to that.
"Thank you." She spoke softly, withdrawing some money from her vault. It was best being kept away than in her hand. If she could have the chance, she knew for a fact all the hard worked money she had earned would be tossed out the window like nothing. It was just they way she had been ever since her mother had introduced her to the runarounds of shopping. Waving lightly to the teller, she found herself exciting the bank. Stores had surrounded her all around. Each individual one had seemed like it was calling her name. But, she knew she couldn't. Bills had to be payed and her pets had to be fed.
Shaking her head, she tossed her long golden curls back and forth. It was slightly warm out, and the sun had everything to do with most of the heat. Tugging lightly on her hig-hugging, torn jeans, Daphne pulled down the waist line of her tank-top. All she could see before her was Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream parlor. Nothing sounded better than ice cream at that moment. Pulling her hair to the side, Daphne pulled open the front door and stepped inside. Finally, cold relieving air. Something she had been waiting for since she had left her home. Hurryig to the counter, She began to slowly look over the boards. Everything was sounding amazing. Even their plain brands.
"Chocolate Fudge please." She smiled, pulling a five from her pocket. Handing the nice young girl her money, Daphne reached over the counter and grabbed her small bowl filled with an endless pile of cold relief. Going to Diagon Alley seemed like the only time she was able to get out of her home, and away from work. Yes, it was sad and miserable, but it was the life she had chose. Arranged marriages just didn't seem like something she could have handled.
