Damon was escaping the castle's confines, and his superior the Potions Master. She was ok, though not the kind of person he would choose to hang out with all the time. So here he was walking down the streets of Hogsmeade his hands in his pockets, with a bit of swagger in his step. He was always outwardly confindent and happy like that. Every once and a while he would skip a step making him look weirder but that was just him.
Finally the store he was looking for came into view. He continued walking casually towards the store with such intent, yet still casually. The store front was a nice new shade of green, being painted over the summer. The wide windows revealled the bountiful merchandise inside. Damon walked up to the window and peered in, like the kids usually did, but his goal was to see if the shop keeper was at the counter, if so, he'd wait for them to go in the back so he had an excuse to stay in there longer. Of course there were anti-stealling spells so it wasn't a risk for the cashier to leave to restock or something.
Luckily they were in the back, so Damon opened the door and strolled in. He began looking at the various merchandise of the one and only Honeydukes.
Damon wasn't one to overdose on candy, just use it every once and awhile to satisfy his sweet tooth. But everytime he went he bought a good months worth, which cost a lot, which restricted him a bit. Damon hyper wasn't a good thing, and his paycheck helped keep him from being hyper. He could bet that the Potions Master would totally get onto him and maybe fire him if he ate too much and was hyper for class. That wouldn't be too good.

Rasalas was at Hogsmeade hoping to run into either Sirius or her brother. Though at the moment she was in Honeydukes remembering the times she was in school. She took a deep breath and inhaled the smell of the different candies. She looked toward the door when she heard the door, her face brightened as she saw it was her brother. "Day!" She called before making her way over to him. "It's so good to see you."
She had been there in the shop for a few moments but the town for almost an hour. The place always had her lost in her past so it was hard to keep track of time. She looked at her brother, handsome as ever. She bit her lower lip as she remembered she still needed to tell him that Sirius Black was her uncle and that she knew who her biological father was. Thinking of all that had her move her hand to her ring, she small, sad smile formed on her lips as she remembered her father had owned the ring and that he was dead. She shook her head as she forced herself to focus on where she was. "How's life? And the job?"

Damon looked straight at Rasalas at first, and it didn't click in his brain who it was. When it finally did Damon smiled and chuckled to himself, thinking about how she was the only one who called him Day, though he didn't mind it at all. He ran up to her, giving her a hug, and greeting her as well.
"It's great to see you too," Damon greeted letting his hug grip go and smiling happy to see her too, though he bet some people missed their siblings more, but he still missed her. He felt kind of bad missing her, when others hadn't seen their siblings in years and years, but that was just him, and he didn't show it. He was silly weirdo at times.
"Life's going pretty good, especially since the Potions Master, Professor Lawrence, isn't that bad and strict and all. Jobs pretty great too, got a little bit of spending money, unlike when I was a babysitter," Damon shivered at the thought, having only really babysat once and it was a terrible experience, "That kid was a nightmare and I didn't get much money from it..."

"That's good, Day." She had missed him so much, "I do wish you would come visit me at the farm." She would never understand why he didn't like the farm. She smiles at him and giggled at his mention of his babysitting job. "Yeah and that one kid made you stop babysitting." She wondered if that was why he didn't have any kids. "Can I tell you something without you getting upset?" She wanted to know that before actually telling him that she found out who her biological father was, though she still didn't know who her mother was and she didn't really care.
She looked around and was glad that there wasn't many people there and that they were on the other side of the store. Without waiting for an answer she spoke, "I found out who my biological father is." She waited for his response and hoped he wouldn't be mad or upset in any way.
She had been wanting to know who her father was since she was a kid and sorted in Slytherin and not Gryffindor like her bother. She found that out as well, her whole family was in Slytherin, except her uncle.

"Sure, you know you can tell me anything," Damon replied happily, completely ignoring the request to come visit the farm. He wouldn't ever go, no matter what. Well he might if god forbid she was dying and couldn't be moved from there, he would tolerate it then at least. Never again. He wouldn't ever go there.
"Wait... what? You're biological father? You know it didn't matter, why'd you look into it so much... Anyways, who was it?" Damon asked curiously. He could understand why she would want to know, though he didn't really know why she looked into it. There family was enough right? Well it didn't matter much anyways. It was in the past, and well Damon was pretty accepting, especially since it was his little sister, who he would always consider a sister, no matter who her real parents were.
Damon had almost forgot why he was here, but it occured to him, but he felt it was more important to listen, and have full attention, instead of the not looking like he was listening as he looked for candy thing, plus that wasn't really important at the time.

"I know, but since the sorting hat told me I was Pureblood I was curious as to who they were." She was glad he wasn't upset but she was worried about how he would react to her being related to the Black family. "Regulus Black is my biological father, I found that out from Sirius Black, who looked at my ring." She touched her ring as she spoke. "It had belonged to Regulus, but I don't know who my biological mother is and I don't care about her, I just really wanted to know who my dad was. Not that it changes how I feel about you or Mum and Dad." She still loved them the same as before.
She would never love her family any less even if Regulus had been alive. She was glad that he wasn't because she would never have known Damon. She couldn't believe she thought that, how could she be glad that her father was dead. She shook her head then hugged her brother, "I could never love you any less, Day." When she let go of him and stepped back she looked at him with a smile. "You will always be my big brother." She was proud of her brother, he made a life had a job and everything.

"Whoa, wait up there. Regulas Black? And Sirius? What?" Damon said with a hint of surprise, "You mean you're related to the Malfoys, the Crabbes, the Goyles, the Tonks, and Bellatrix? That's really weird to think about." It truly was weird, though he still though of her like a sister, not as some kind of second cousin to Bellatrix, or something. But it was really weird that she was related to all those people, and had those people in the world part of her big family, including evil Death Eaters and Good Order people. Well really it shouldn't change his view on her, and it really didn't. Blood didn't matter to him, obviously, since he still considered her a sister, since he knew since they adopted her she was not his real blood sister.
"I wasn't jealous of your love for you family, yeah that's right," Damon chuckled with fake cover up, as he stood smiling, happy that she finally found out, and he wouldn't have to worry about her parents coming and collecting her, which he feared, but since her father was dead, as sad as it was, he really didn't have to worry about it, except if her mother came. But that was Damon, he knew there was no chance of that really, and Rasalas would still be his family no matter what, but he worried all the time about it.
"And you'll always be my baby sister. I'll destory any person who hurts you," Damon laughed.

"I guess I am, though Sirius said it did explain my name though. It seems that with his family star names were the best names for their kids." Ras shrugged then a thought occurred to her, "If you think about it, I grew up with half my family in Hogwarts. "Draco, Crabbe and Goyle, I never did learn their first names besides Draco. Oh and the Weasleys though Draco called them blood traitors in school." She never understood that phrase.
She rose an eyebrow and looked at her brother, "Is that why I haven't seen my ex anywhere?" She laughed as she thought about it, she knew her brother might beat him up.
"Oh I wrote to Dumbledore about becoming a professor. Before that I spoke to Snape, he thought it was a good idea." She smiled as she thought about working along with her brother in the school. She hadn't heard from the man yet but hoped she would get the job as she needed the money. "But if I get the job I will have to hire someone to tend to the farm while I work." She didn't want to tell him why she needed a job because she didn't want him to think she couldn't handle the farm anymore.

"Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, they were both on my list to make sure to watch out for, after I heard of them coming to Hogwarts of course," Damon stated. He tended to know a lot about those he didn't like and less about those he did, which was odd. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, of course. He didn't trust most Slytherins, except Ras, she was cool, and his sister, so he coped with it.
"Oh yeah, he's locked up in the back of one of the Potions supply closets," Damon joked back. Seriously, he would give anyone who hurt her hell, like her ex, who he now hated. He was nice enough to those who she dated while they were, but the instant they broke up, he cheated, or something to hurt her he was not the most pleasant guy to be around. Damon had the sort of baby sister protection going on.
"That is great! Then we can both be teaching at Hogwarts. I bet you could find someone to watch over the... farm," Damon replied, about to call it something else, but stopping himself, since she liked it, and well he didn't, "Dang it... that means you would be higher ranked than me. I'm just a darned assistant." He snapped his fingers like someone from long ago saying 'Oh man'. "Now I'm gonna have to somehow get Professor Lawrence to quit..."

"Well Like I said I never learned their first names, all Draco called them were Crabbe and Goyle and they were never without Draco so I never bothered to try to know their first names." Ras shrugged, she playfully pushed her brother at his joke about her ex. "Darn you didn't poison him?" She joked, of course she wouldn't want to see him again but she wouldn't want him dead either.
Ras smiled, "I rarely get to be higher in anything when it comes to you." She was joking but it was half true her brother was better at almost everything then her. "I have met someone. He's Snape's assistant. Cute too." She smiled at her brother then wondered if two professors could date. "Have you met anyone? I want some nieces and nephews." She loved embarrassing him about kids. "Or is that one bad babysitting gig turned you away from having kids?" She knew that she wanted kids but she knew that most people would say she had her whole life ahead of her and that she had enough time to have kids.
"What all is different about the school? I haven't set foot inside it yet." Not since she was a student at least.

"Eh, I'm weird like that," Damon remarked, keeping his friends close and his enemies closer; not that his enemies knew of course. Damon was always one to mark his enemies, though not always on first impressions. People were known to get off of his bad side, though not too often. Like Malfoy, but Malfoy barely even knew him, so it wasn't that big of a deal.
"Snape's assistant huh? Now I know who my next target is," Damon replied with an evil grin on his face, but really only jokingly, unless somehow this assistant hurt her, and then he would be in a world of hurt, at least for a bit since Damon knew where the kid would be, since they would be working together, at least in the same building.
"Just got to find the right girl I guess. Haven't really found the right one," Damon replied, knowing it was partly his fault since he kept breaking the relationships off, because he had commitment issues, which he didn't really do anything about, "And kids are another thing. I don't like them when they're little, but if who ever I marry wants them, I guess I would be ok with it."
"Not much really. The halls are still so confusing, and changing, as well as the teachers. So many changes in the last few years, but that's about it. Slytherins are still Slytherins. Gryffindors are Gryffindors. Same old Same old," Damon answered shrugging. The school was almost the same as when he went to school, though it wasn't the same with the hurt and all of that finally starting to really take affect in some from the war a few years ago.
