It was early, almost too early, and yet... she was awake. Pacing the halls, moving too quietly for her father to take notice. Soon, she felt she wold go mad. Cayde stalked the halls for what could easily have been hours before she came to the decision to just go. It wasn't like he'd really care.
Slipping on her shoes and a heavy hooded jacket, she moved near silently out the front door. Closing it slowly behind her, Cayde took off in a swift jog toward the center of the wizarding village. Every footfall took her closer to a place she knew she would be going, even before she left. In the cool morning air, her breath could be seen as small clouds.
It was only four o'clock, and the only other movement outside seemed to be the cats of the village hunting mice. Her steps seemed to echo, and then- they were done. She stood stock-still just outside of the graveyard. Inside, lay her mother and infant sister- forever lost to a world who hardly knew them. Sucking in a deep breath, Cayde stepped in.
This wasn't the first time she had found herself walking the narrow passes of the graveyard so early in the morning. And it wouldn't be the last, she knew. Close enough to her mother's headstone, she took time to rest at a bench, catch her breath and what not.

Hermione Granger should not have gotten up so early that morning. Hermione Granger should not have left the house, leaving only a note. Hermione Granger should not have disapparated and then apparated into Godric’s Hollow. The bottom line was that Hermione Granger should not have done many of the things that she did; but she had done them, and there was no going back.
The early morning air felt good on her makeup-free face. She didn’t know why she had awoken so early, only that perhaps her nerves had gotten the best of her. She was going to begin her auror training soon, and she wanted to get out of the house and back into the Wizarding World. She also felt that she could use a bit of exercise. She had lost the weight from her pregnancy by walking and jogging, slowly working her way up to running a few miles on a good day. But for some reason, she didn’t want to go running in the countryside near Sirius’ house; instead, she wanted to get further away, and her heart had for some reason led her to Godric’s Hollow.
Taking off in a swift motion, she found herself jogging along the outskirts of town before being drawn to the one place in Godric’s Hollow that held a particularly close place to her heart: the graveyard. As she reached the entrance, she slowed her pace and entered quietly, hoping that no one would hear it. It was thus to her great surprise that she saw another person in the graveyard, one she though she could place as a Ravenclaw who had been at school during her years, yet was slightly younger. The name, however, escaped her, so she coughed lightly so that the girl would not be startled and this whispered a soft, “Hello.”
